How to Get Approved for Google Adsense

google adsense

Good morning to all my friends and to all my loyal readers (big cashers) it’s Darrell back at you on a chilly 39 degree  morning.

For the last couple of weeks I have been getting tons of questions and comments about Google Adsense mostly from  newer bloggers. The goal here at the cash blog is to be the best resource in the world on anything related to making money online.

So this morning my post is titled “How to Get Approved for Google Adsense.” So hopefully I clear up a lot of inaccurate information  and answer  most of your questions.  Let’s Roll.

In case you are thinking who the hell are you lol you can learn more     About Me.

Read this useful  post  The Wealthy Affiliate Start-Up Course    I recommend this course  100%.

What is Google Adsense ?

  • Google Adsense is the largest source of income for most websites over the internet.
  • Google made US $ 13.6 billion from Adsense in 2015
  • Adsense  publishers made about US $ 7 billion from this ad program.
  • If you are not 18 or more, you can’t submit your application to Google Adsense to become a publisher. You have to submit in the name of your parent.
  • There are more than 2 million publishers in Google Adsense program.
  • Wire transfer is the most popular way used by Google Adsense to pay money to their publishers worldwide.
  • Google Adsense is great way and many websites first choice to make cash online.

Courtney Rosen of  ehow.com Alexa Rank 223 and Pete Cashmore of mashable.com Alexa Rank 290 are the top two Google Adsense earners in the world.

Why is Google Adsense so Popular

Google Adsense is one of the oldest networks to offer ad publishing and is a PayperClick system.

When it comes to the legitimacy of Google Adsense it speaks for itself. Google Adsense has thousands of satisfied customers and publishers. Adsense pays ontime, every time.

One more reason for choosing Google Adsense is that huge amounts can be earned with the right techniques. There are many bloggers who are making a complete living from their blogs and Google Adsense.

Google Adsense paying rates are better than all of the other networks. So that’s the biggest reason it is so popular among bloggers.

Because Google Adsense is in high demand they have made the approval system very strict.

Read this  post that went viral 6 Things I wish I Knew Before I Started Blogging.

Things to Do Before Applying for Adsense

1. Write High Quality Content

The #1 thing to do before applying for Google Adsense is to write high quality engaging content.

Google loves the blogs who are providing high quality content that eyeballs just can’t resist.

Keep in mind guys your application will be reviewed by humans and you have to impress them to get approved by Adsense.

High quality content…………

  • is unique and original
  • no grammar and spelling
  • proper length
  • useful and informative.

Markus Frind owner of plenty of fish.com was the 4th highest Google Adsense  earner in the world, he earned  $ 250,000 a month.

2. Create Privacy Page for Your Blog

The first thing you will need to apply for  with Google Adsense and get approval is the privacy policy of your blog or website.

If you don’t have it you cannot get approval it’s as simple as that.

Why Is it Important ?

It’s a requirement of Adsense and secondly this privacy policy means you are not a scam and you are a serious business. Google will only move forward if you have this policy.

Privacy policy actually describes to your readers about what they will get on your blog, what they should do and what they should not.

. So obviously having a privacy policy is a good thing, and can affect your Adsense approval

3. Create About Page

Like privacy policy you must have an about page so that you can get approved. This shows there’s a real person behind the blog.

An About page has a major role and importance even if you don’t want to apply for Adsense. But when it comes to Adsense there is about zero chance of getting approved if you are not showing this page.

About page simply describes you and your blog. This will not only help you establish a relationship with readers but it will also help with trust.

4. Setup A Contact Us Page

Everyone  has their opinion. This page gives an opportunity to speak to you about how they feel about your blog whether they liked it or hated it.

Create a contact page. If possible do get professional email address like darrell@makingbigcashonline.com and your social profile links too.

By creating this you are telling Google that we care for our customers ,visitors and we are ready to help them. They can contact us anytime.

It will also show the Google Adsense Team that is viewing your site that you actually care about your readers and not only the money and Adsense.

Check out my  Contact page to get an idea.

One important step: Google Adsense mentions in their email that your website should have a clear navigation menu to help your readers easily find the content that they are looking for.

The more you care about improving your visitors experience the higher  your chances will be to get approved by Adsense.

5. Verify Your Name and Email

When you apply don’t forget to put your name and email address in some easily visible area like about and contact pages.

It will confirm to Google Adsense team that it is the same person who applied for Adsense and not some spam.

This will speed up the verification process and within no time you will be able to enjoy your Adsense account.

One of my favorite bloggers Jerry Schoemaker  of   Shoe money   is number 8 on the Google Adsense list making $ 80,000 every month.

6. Have A Good Number of Quality Post

According to my experience everybody the best time to apply for an Adsense account is when you have at least 20 quality post.

Your blog post length should be at least 600 + words with quality content.

Read this helpful post ‘How to Write Headlines Like a Professional.

7. Make Sure You’re 18 +

Use  your correct date of birth and age while applying for your Google Adsense account.

8. Improve Your Blog Design

A clean professional and fast loading design is what Google likes. You have to make  a good  first impression to engage your readers. It should be

  • simple and professional
  • easy to navigate
  • proper menus
  • search engine friendly
  • Fast loading

9.Check Your Content Type

Here are some common content types that are not accepted by Adsense.

  • Pornography/adult materials
  • Pirated content
  • Hacking tutorials
  • Illegal drugs / paraphernalia

10. Use Top Level Domain

You must use your own unique domain that specifies your blog. Go buy a Top level domain. You can buy the domain from Godady and namecheap.

The best domain is the one with .com extension. Choose a short and easy domain to remember that is related to your blog niche.

11. Remove Other Ad Networks

If you have any other ads placed like, Infolinks or Clicksor, take them off.

Make your blog ad free. Before submitting your application for Google Adsense make sure to remove all the ads from any network.

Let me help you elevate your online presence … with our Social media management service.

12. Check your Traffic Sources

Google hates sites that are getting paid traffic and mostly penalizes them so there is not a chance of getting approved by Adsense for a site that is getting paid traffic.

If you want to earn thru Google paid traffic is not a solution. So focus on getting traffic from sources like social media, search engines, and related blogs.

What to do if Your Application is Rejected ?

Well, it’s not the end of the world !

There are two things you can do

1. Keep the faith. Take the time to correct the issues thet prevented your blog from attaining Adsense approval and reapply.

Remember you have no limit on how many times you can reapply as long as you use the same email account.

2.There are other competent and reliable ad networks available that aren’t as strict as Google Adsense in terms of getting approved.

Like my grandmother use to say, “When God closes a door he usually opens a window.”

You can use these ad networks to earn money without Adsense.

1. Infolinks-

Infolinks is the leader in text advertising which offers 70% revenue share even if you’re new at blogging. It is different from other advertising networks.

It takes less space because it shows in text ads on pop up. You can use it with Adsense safely. It is pay per click.

  • .Alexa Rank 2571
  • min payout: $ 50
  • Payment method : Paypal, Wire Transfer

2. Bidvertiser

Bidvertiser is another top alternative to Google Adsense which pays you for valid clicks on ads placed on your website.

It is a  great Adsense alternative if you didn’t get Adsense approval or got banned. You can also make money promoting your customized toolbar.

  • Alexa Rank 892
  • min payout $ 10 only
  • Payment Method : Paypal,Checks

3. Media.net

Media.net is probably the best alternative to Adsense as it’s powered by the Yahoo Bing Network.

Media.net ads are quite similar to  Google Adsense and it’s easy to get approved if you love a quality blog.

  • Alexa Rank 5132
  • min payout $ 100
  • Payment Method ; Paypal

Conclusion

Getting Adsense approved is not really hard if you have a quality website that is focused on high-quality engaging content, optimized for search engines, uses a great design and gets decent traffic.

I hope you learned a few things from “How to Get Approved for Google Adsense.” and if it doesn’t work out for you monetize your blog with other business models.

Ad networks are helpful but Affiliate marketing and  selling your own products are best.

Now here’s what I want YOU  to do.

  • Comment below and Share your story about getting Adsense approved. Let me know how it went. Thanks and take care everybody.

13 Clever Ways to Acquire Social Proof

ways,proof

Hello to all my friends and my loyal readers ( big cashers) it’s Darrell back at you for a mid-week share.

It’s a cool day here in Iowa 60 degrees. As most of you know I have alot of  friends, who own  small businesses here in Iowa. Laundromat, dry cleaners, deli that sort of thing. But anyway.

I have been getting a ton of questions from offline friends and  my readers about social proof, so today’s post “13 clever ways to acquire social proof,” hopefully will answer most of those questions.

So what is Social Proof ?

Many websites feature information on the number of customers who have purchased their products.  Online stores display ratings and reviews for every product they sell. This is an example of social proof.

This information influences the attitudes and actions of others.

In case you are thinking who the hell are you lol you can learn more     About Me.

Social proof is behind almost every purchasing decision we make.

Just think about it: How often do you pick a restaurant based solely on the number of people dining inside?  Buy a product based on a number of  customers who have allegedly bought it already ?  Or hire a certain service just because they have more positive reviews?

That’s social proof in action.

Why Your Business Needs Social Proof?

You could be doing a great job communicating your unique service or the benefits of using your products.  But unless you influence others to see your service as more favorable and popular all your efforts are worthless.

Fact : People trust other people more than they trust marketers

Social proof adds credibility

It’s hard to convince others to try your product or book your service without any proof of how it has helped others.

Having social proof (reviews, testimonials or even the number of sales to date) adds credibility to your business.

Read this helpful post  Video Testimonials……..It’s a No Brainer.

Social proof helps to validate the buying decision.

Social proof in the form of reviews, criticism or questions inform potential customers of what people think.

We know what we we want people to do,and we know how to use traditional marketing to get them to do it. The trick is to reinforce that desired behavior through social proof. Here are some ways to acquire social proof for your business or website.

  • Comments

Comments are indicators that people are engaged and paying attention to what you are writing.  And that they value it enough to take the time to reply.

  • Customer Testimonials

Testimonials are the most poular way to acquire social proof. Testimonials work because they build trust and help overcome skepticism.

Nothing rings truer than a strong review from someone who has benefitted from your product or service. A good testimonial is true marketing gold.

Hear  what small biz owner Ray Vandenberg said about my social media management service.  And George O’Reilly had kind words  about our MBC digital services.

  • Raw Numbers (Shares, Stats  and Followers)

This is  a great way for people that visit your website to see how many people are following you, your business or your brand or any other valuable statistic.

Only list social networks where you have a presence.      WordPress.com highlights that WordPress powers 25% of the internet How can you say no to using wordpress after that.

  • Interviews

Record and interview with a satisfied buyer or client. Video and audio are incredibly powerful tools. This is a great way to let others share their experience with your product.

  • FOMO marketing

In 1955 Ray Kroc the guy who built McDonald’s into a global brand displayed a sign outside his first McDonald’s franchise reading.

“Over 1 million served”

and unknowingly contributed to the birth of wisdom of the crowd social proof. Highlighting a product’s popularity is another way to establish social proof.

For one seeing that others have benefitted from something makes many people want the same.

This phenomenon is called the “Fear of Missing Out” or  FOMO for short and is defined as:

“a pervasive apprehension that others might be having rewarding experiences from which one is absent. ”   source.

  • Case Studies

Case Studies provide a full insight into a customer’s story, from the problem they experienced and the reason they sought out your solution to how you’ve helped them solve it.

  • Recommendations from Friends

According to  Nielsen  84% of people say they completely trust recommendations from people they know.

A joint-research project by Ogilvy, Google and TNS revealed that word of mouth is the highest point of influence for customers ( 74%) surpassing actual in store visits, social media and search.

  • Celebrity and Well Known Industry Endorsements

Celebrity and well-known industry experts are great resources when it comes to establishing authority and proving value.

Depending on the brand celebrity approval may come in the form of paid endorsements or even national endorsements That’s what large companies like Pepsi and Priceline do.

William Shatner earned   $ 600 million by being a spokesperson of Priceline.com.

  • Certifications  and Badges

If your business has certain industry certifications or accreditations you can proudly display those on your website

Most certifying organizations have badges or logos that can be freely displayed on your website. Some have been shown to increase conversion rates by as much as 30 percent.

  • Media Mentions

Has your product or brand ever been mentioned in the media? This would include blog  features, podcast interviews , or unsolicited reviews.

Well take excerpts from these mentions and paste them on your website to establish authority.

Read this helpful post  6 Questions Answered about SSL Certificates.

  • Trust Seals

By adding trust seals on your checkout page you can significantly boost your sales. There are tons of security seals you can add on your site such as Norton,  Mcafee or Better business bureau.

  • Customer Base

One effective social proof strategy is the use of client logos. By showing users your existing customer base, you’re essentially telling them that your product is good enough for successful companies to use–so it must be good enough for them.

  • Platform Integrations

If your product or service integrates with third-party services then one of the best social proof you can add is the logos of your integration partners.

By doing this  you ultimately put your product in the company of credible and familiar brands. Check out Option monster how they show platform integrations.

Bonus:

  • Social Media Proof

As social media becomes more main stream brands are using social media status as social proof by highlighting what their customers are saying about them.

Pagely displays testimonials from Twitter on their site.

What if you’re starting out and you don’t have social proof yet?

Oli Gardner, co-founder of  Unbounce says there are a couple ways to overcome this problem.

  • Be ok with not having any social proof.
  • Instead of testimonials, display quotes from influencers highlighting the importance of services you offer.
  • If you’relauching a new product, give it away for free to people who can offer feedback.
  • Ask bloggers and media to review your service.

I hope after reading this article you’re ready to add social proof on your site and  increase your online visibility and sales.

The most important thing you can do to create a positive engagement is to listen carefully. Listen with the goal to understand. Bottom line listen more than you talk.

You’ll be amazed how much you can learn about your audience when you hush up and listen.

11.Follow the 70-30 rule

The 70-30 rule follows this strategy seventy percent engaging content and 30 percent promotional

The 70 percent should be fun, interesting and useful. Let your audience get involved in the conversation, rather than feeling as if they are being “sold” every time you post.

This keeps your audience interactive and engaged, so that way when you do promote they are far more likely to value whatever information comes their way.

12. Check your Analytics

Research should be the backbone of your social media strategy. Google Analytics offers a rich database of statistics and analytics that should guide your posting and strategy decisions.

Use this information to learn as much as possible about which content is making the biggest impact with your community.

13.Keep up with Industry Trends

Maintaining a finger on the pulse of trending topics and knowing what’s happening and relevant to your target market should always be important.

14. Assess. Learn. Improve. Repeat

Take the information you get from analytics learn from it and adjust your strategy. Your strategy must be adaptable and flexible.
