I had a great time with my family and I ate like a horse. The holiday season is a huge opportunity to improve your blog and increase your audience.

This happens even though potential visitors are plentiful and ready to  spend holiday hours with their eyeballs on your content.

Now this is a very personal type of post that helps you connect with your visitors. A personal connection always helps get the post to be spread virally. Here are some ideas:

For the last couple of weeks I have been getting tons of questions and comments about Google Adsense mostly from  newer bloggers. The goal here at the cash blog is to be the best resource in the world on anything related to making money online.

The #1 thing to do before applying for Google Adsense is to write high quality engaging content.

Google loves the blogs who are providing high quality content that eyeballs just can’t resist.

Keep in mind guys your application will be reviewed by humans and you have to impress them to get approved by Adsense.

High quality content…………

  • is unique and original
  • no grammar and spelling
  • proper length
  • useful and informative.

Markus Frind owner of plenty of was the 4th highest Google Adsense  earner in the world, he earned  $ 250,000 a month.

2. Create Privacy Page for Your Blog


The first thing you will need to apply for  with Google Adsense and get approval is the privacy policy of your blog or website.

If you don’t have it you cannot get approval it’s as simple as that.

Why Is it Important ?

It’s a requirement of Adsense and secondly this privacy policy means you are not a scam and you are a serious business. Google will only move forward if you have this policy.

Privacy policy actually describes to your readers about what they will get on your blog, what they should do and what they should not.

. So obviously having a privacy policy is a good thing, and can affect your Adsense approval

3. Create About Page

Like privacy policy you must have an about page so that you can get approved. This shows there’s a real person behind the blog.

An About page has a major role and importance even if you don’t want to apply for Adsense. But when it comes to Adsense there is about zero chance of getting approved if you are not showing this page.

About page simply describes you and your blog. This will not only help you establish a relationship with readers but it will also help with trust.


4. Setup A Contact Us Page

Everyone  has their opinion. This page gives an opportunity to speak to you about how they feel about your blog whether they liked it or hated it.

Create a contact page. If possible do get professional email address like and your social profile links too.

By creating this you are telling Google that we care for our customers ,visitors and we are ready to help them. They can contact us anytime.

It will also show the Google Adsense Team that is viewing your site that you actually care about your readers and not only the money and Adsense.

One important step: Google Adsense mentions in their email that your website should have a clear navigation menu to help your readers easily find the content that they are looking for.

The more you care about improving your visitors experience the higher  your chances will be to get approved by Adsense.

5. Verify Your Name and Email

When you apply don’t forget to put your name and email address in some easily visible area like about and contact pages.

It will confirm to Google Adsense team that it is the same person who applied for Adsense and not some spam.

This will speed up the verification process and within no time you will be able to enjoy your Adsense account.

One of my favorite bloggers Jerry Schoemaker  of   Shoe money   is number 8 on the Google Adsense list making $ 80,000 every month.

6. Have A Good Number of Quality Post

According to my experience everybody the best time to apply for an Adsense account is when you have at least 20 quality post.

Your blog post length should be at least 600 + words with quality content.

7. Make Sure You’re 18 +

Use  your correct date of birth and age while applying for your Google Adsense account.

8. Improve Your Blog Design

A clean professional and fast loading design is what Google likes. You have to make  a good  first impression to engage your readers. It should be

  • simple and professional
  • easy to navigate
  • proper menus
  • search engine friendly
  • Fast loading

9.Check Your Content Type

Here are some common content types that are not accepted by Adsense.

  • Pornography/adult materials
  • Pirated content
  • Hacking tutorials
  • Illegal drugs / paraphernalia

10. Use Top Level Domain

You must use your own unique domain that specifies your blog. Go buy a Top level domain. You can buy the domain from Godady and namecheap.

The best domain is the one with .com extension. Choose a short and easy domain to remember that is related to your blog niche.

11. Remove Other Ad Networks

If you have any other ads placed like, Infolinks or Clicksor, take them off.

Make your blog ad free. Before submitting your application for Google Adsense make sure to remove all the ads from any network.

12. Check your Traffic Sources

Google hates sites that are getting paid traffic and mostly penalizes them so there is not a chance of getting approved by Adsense for a site that is getting paid traffic.

If you want to earn thru Google paid traffic is not a solution. So focus on getting traffic from sources like social media, search engines, and related blogs.

What to do if Your Application is Rejected ?

Well, it’s not the end of the world !

There are two things you can do

1. Keep the faith. Take the time to correct the issues thet prevented your blog from attaining Adsense approval and reapply.

Remember you have no limit on how many times you can reapply as long as you use the same email account.

2.There are other competent and reliable ad networks available that aren’t as strict as Google Adsense in terms of getting approved.

Like my grandmother use to say, “When God closes a door he usually opens a window.”

You can use these ad networks to earn money without Adsense.

1. Infolinks-

Infolinks is the leader in text advertising which offers 70% revenue share even if you’re new at blogging. It is different from other advertising networks.

It takes less space because it shows in text ads on pop up. You can use it with Adsense safely. It is pay per click.

5. Make it Easy

People want to connect . They don’t want to be spammed at every opportunity. Give them an opportunity to engage with you, your brand and your team.

Be available. Open up your comment stream on your blog. Listen and be relevant and responsive.

The life of social media is people. People like me and you. People who laugh and cry,play hard and work hard.  Offer value to the people in your community with a goal of building real relationships.

The most successful companies who leverage social media are expanding their influence to several platforms.

They not only use Facebook and Twitter but they enrich their brand with Google+, Instagram and Linked In.

8.Mix Things Up

The best social media strategies mix up tactics when it comes to posting whether the content is a link, image or text.

Try mixing things up, with infographics,quotes from your latest post or answers to questions.

The objective guys is to generate content that people will interact with by clicking on it,commenting or sharing it with their friends.


9.Keep Your Branding consistent

When setting up accounts on different social media networks make sure your logo,color scheme and graphics are consistent.

10. Offer Value and Knowledge

The most important thing you can do to create a positive engagement is to listen carefully. Listen with the goal to understand. Bottom line listen more than you talk.

You’ll be amazed how much you can learn about your audience when you hush up and listen.

11.Follow the 70-30 rule

The 70-30 rule follows this strategy seventy percent engaging content and 30 percent promotional

The 70 percent should be fun,interesting and useful. Let your audience get involved in the conversation, rather than feeling as if they are being “sold” every time you post.

This keeps your audience interactive and engaged, so that way when you do promote they are far more likely to value whatever information comes their way.

12. Check your Analytics

Research should be the backbone of your social media strategy. Google Analytics offers a rich database of statistics and analytics that should guide your posting and strategy decisions.

Use this information to learn as much as possible about which content is making the biggest impact with your community.


13.Keep up with Industry Trends

Maintaining a finger on the pulse of trending topics and knowing what’s happening and relevant to your target market should always be important.


14. Assess. Learn. Improve. Repeat

Take the information you get from analytics learn from it and adjust your strategy. Your strategy must be adaptable and flexible.
