Yes, i agree with that, making blog title more attractive can appeal the readers. But we have to put flesh inside the content too! It is not very wise to trick the readers by using compelling headline!

  9. Hi, I didn’t know there were so many different ways to drive traffic. I’m new to blogging and only been doing a few of these. How do you know if the content you’re writing is good or not? what does “good quality content” mean? I feel like my content is a bit monotone and lacking personality, it’s like you’re reading a school textbook. can a boring writing style be considered good content if it’s informative?

  14. Heck, I have so much to learn to drive traffic to my blog. This is so helpful but I will have to take the steps one at a time as writing regular is the key for my early days into the blogging world and I do require more quality content to achieve high rankings.

Every time I create a post, I share the link on twitter, facebook, instagram, pinterest and Google+ and have a Social Media schedule setup to constantly share my older posts but I don’t want more than 2 links per day going out in my early days.

I do the odd comment on other blogs too as you suggest, it’s all about creating a presence I suppose and hopefully they’ll return the favour.

I do link outside of my website for everypost I create and provide many internal links to try and generate visitors reading other posts however I have opted not to centralise affiliate links rather than have them on my posts as I don’t want to appear spammy.

Every blog post I write I use a keyword tool to create titles with high traffic and low competition from other websites using the same.

    Thanks,
    Simon.
